I'm Back!

Wow! Haven't blogged in a while! I miss you all and I miss being here in my scraproom and playing with all my goodies. I am finishing up with my cake class tomorrow, but will be beginning my 2nd course the following Thursday! I'm so excited. I have fallen in love with this little hobby! It's not going to replace my scrapbooking obsession, but it has definitely opened new doors for me. And my husband loves it! He loves that there are always goodies to eat around the house. I did one of my good friends bridal shower this weekend.. and I wanted to share some of the things I did for it.

These are the prizes for the games, the favors, and the center pieces. The colors for the bridal shower were hot pink and orange.

These are the handmade favors. Simple, yet I love how they came out. I melted the white chocolate (went with Ghirardelli, my fav.) and shaped them into hearts. I did food coloring to match with the them and then labeled them and tied a bow with both colors.

This is the guest/good wishes book for the bride. I made it out of chipboard and matted paper! I love how it came out and looks so cute!

And here aree the cupcakes that my friend Khaminh and I worked on! We did the decorations and everything! I was so proud of how they looked! I'm so happy we are taking this class together!
